A value painting in raw umber of a plaster cast (Joan of Arc Mask) purchased from the Caproni Collection. Drawing and painting from plaster casts has a long tradition in classical art and is a perfect way of developing technique.
Artwork is approximately 34 x 22cm (HxW) on unstretched canvas (46x35cm) in oils.
This is one of my ‘Works on Paper’ collection and is sold without a frame. Signed on the back by the Artist.
