Description

A wonderful photo by my friends at The End of the Avenue inspired this piece. The flower arrangement, colours and vase was something I felt the need to paint. I could see the subtle shades of oil colours I wanted to use clearly in my mind and I feel the final artwork captured the essence if my plan for this painting.

Magenta and yellow flowers combine with green leaves and neutral shades in the background to create a beautiful, calming still life painting that warms the heart to look at.

This is part of a series of original floral paintings.

Painting is 40 x 40cm (HxW) on canvas board.
